Once you have done the temp root, click the perm root if you wish it to be permanent and then your device will reboot. The only app I have downloaded from the market is astro file manager so I can install the app.
I tried the permroot option moraco seemed to go through the motions and triggered a reboot as expected. Posted March 7, edited. I’m still stuck with this problem.

Yet, I still am not able to remove the bloatware T-Mobile put on the phone. I was able to temproot, attempt to unroot which worked fine and rebooted the phone as expectedtemproot again, and then permroot which now works perfectly. I see the same, just the please wait I had the same issues getting it to work as well.
