It contains the best presentation I know of technical issues as seen by different schools of guitar, an enlightening section on pedagogy and learningand a section on “musicianship” that presents information on musical analysis and interpretation.

Besides good sections on the usual stuff, as arpeggios and slurs, it contains a thorough explanation of the fingerboard system, with lots of scales all over the fretboard, and recurring chord forms, basic cadences, etc.

But the high point is a section on interpretive control, with some interesting suggestions about articulation, dynamics, etc.
