Dream Analysis submission from Lakala…
I dreamt that a snake was crawling toward me. There were other people near me but they were not afraid because it was like they knew the snake was coming for me only. I wanted to run but I could not move. I think I might have been restrained. The snake started to crawl on me. I was coming towards my face. The snake tongue licked me on my mouth but the snake never bit me. There was a second snake but I don't remember anything more. I feel like the snakes were taunting me for the entertainment of someone and that there was something worse coming.

Dream Analysis
Hi Lakala
There's not much to go on here but I'll offer my thoughts anyway. You son does ot appear in the dream so I don't think his legal wrangles are related. Rather the dream is focussed on you.
A snake can symbolise many things. In some ways the snake is the most basic of all the animals (no legs or arms etc), but it is also thought of as wise (as in the Garden of Eden). While the snake can be poisonous, in many cultures, including the west, the snake is a symbol of healing.
Generally speaking the appearance of a snake in a dream heralds a period of transformation. A snake sheds its skin from time to time, and similarly our ongoing development also calls for periods of renewal.
In the dream you cannot escape the snake. This suggests that the challenges you are faced with cannot be avoided. And as it turns out the snake only licks you. So there is nothing to be too concerned about as yet.
Also the whole scene in entertaining to others. So there may be a funny side to what your experiencing. Try to see what you're going through from another perspective. The ability to laugh at your own dramas, or adopt a more philosophical stance, often holds a great healing power.
The sense that something worse is coming, however, looms on the horizon.
With a dream like this my recommendation would be to be open to change. Allow yourself time to prepare for a period of transformations and renewal.
Let me know if this helps.
Regards
Craig
